ABOUT OUR MISSION

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit for wounded warriors past and present. Through equine facilitated learning (EFL), the horses are used as a living tool to facilitate healing from combat trauma, post-traumatic stress injury,

traumatic-brain injury & military sexual trauma.

Our vision is that every veteran or active duty military member will have access to these services, to regain their emotional strength and confidence. Research shows that holding negative emotions for a long period of time can cause stress, increase anxiety, turn into depression, suppress the immune system, and impact sound judgment and intellectual capacity. Horses can help alleviate anxiety and build confidence for dealing with every day problems.
